Edgar Miller Graphic Novel Preview Presentation & Book Signing
Edgar Miller Legacy (EML) is excited to announce the publication of a new 160-page, vibrantly illustrated graphic novel about the renowned Chicago creator and placemaker Edgar Miller. The novel immerses the reader in Miller’s adventurous and wholly creative life, and it explores a number of themes and questions about the meaning of art and how the twentieth century shaped Chicago and the artists working within it.
At this exclusive preview event for Burton Place Neighbors, you will hear from the graphic novel’s illustrator, Hannah Dykstra, and writer, EML’s Director of Operations Jeff Kruse, who will share the graphic novel’s development process and Miller’s impact on their work and creative philosophy. Moderated by EML’s Executive Director, Zac Bleicher, the presentation will be followed by questions from the audience. A book signing will follow the presentation and Q&A.
Discount copies of the novel will be available for purchase.
